Rosenberg Disengages from the Zablo Beis Din

BREAKING NEWS: In an email sent by Rabbi Avrohom Rosenberg just a short while ago to all the involved parties of the Zablo Din Torah he announced his decision to no longer handle the Crown Heights case.

The email was sent out just a short while ago and was addressed to all parties involved in the Din Torah.

Rabbi Rosenberg said that this decision stems from ‘a number of different reasons’ and that he prefers not to elaborate on them.

He added “if all the members of the Beis Din are willing to travel to America to continue in dealing with the case, and that further handling of the case would be before all the parties involved, I would be willing to reevaluate my decision.”

Reasons for this sudden announcement can only be left up to speculation, and certainly leaves more questions than answers.

This comes after Rabbi Rosenberg took tens of thousands of dollars from the community for the Din Torah, leaving matters unresolved and in even more chaos then it was before.

    Its simple, the other Rabbanim left him to deal with everything. He is right, they should all come back to the US or better yet, close the whole case.

    All is not lost, and being before Purim at least he took off his fake mask, and showed us who he really is. Besides comes next December he can always get a job imitating Santa.
    How much money did they spend on that guy. Who is he really? A double agent sent from Australia to destroy our neighborhood. Who quits in the middle, especially when the juicy part is starting to ooze out.Oh i get it the snow melted, and like in the Wizard of Oz, you get the picture.
    Anyway who exactly is our Rav? (as in Rabbi) or Rav (as in argument) Anyway if i offended anybody I apologize, there’s nothing like a Geshmakeh Purim Torah. And being close to April 1st, Happy April Fools day. i leave it up to you people to take out the Geshmakiet of this Letzones. Or is it the truth.

    What is it with people who have the last name Rosenberg? Other than Rivky Holtzberg HYD’s father, I don’t know of a single ehrlicher Rosenberg.

    I had a crook named Rosenberg try to swindle me into taking an overpriced office in BP. I also know of one who married out, one who is a total madman (Nuchem who is an extortionist and a menuvel besides being meshugge), and then there is Failed Rosenberg of blog fame, and this Rosenberg who should also be called Failed Rosenberg except that unlike the schvantz blogger he got a nice wad of gelt for his failure.

    once again the fighting has cost us. up to this point, it has cost us spiritually and no financially. Our community would benefit if all leaders forgot their egos and forgot about what is good for them and instead focus on what is good for the community. All the money that was spend could have helped the poor, abused and neglected individuals who so desperately need the money.
    It is a tragedy that after all this the ‘leaders’ are still not leading but fighting.

    in my uneducated opinion, when a psak din is given by a beis din – that is final.

    If in the future a opposing psak din comes out – we would have to deal with it at that time.

    I guess that he is not allowed to speak out against the majority opinion of the zabl”o. that is the Halacha. so if you ask him for his opinion, he will probably remain silent

    Have you seen a written letter from the other 4 Rabbonim stating that they opose the Psak Din singed by Rabbi Rosenberg? (‘in the name of the beis din’).

    How could you say such a thing?? Do you know that this is horrible horrible mistake to the Americans. The Rosenbergs were innocent! Are you just heartless or misinformed?? We are talking about young innocent parents who were taken away from there poor 3 and 6 year old sons because someone fabricated a whole story about them and they were asked to snitch who it was but they refused to as they were INNOCENT.

    I think this is a very fair statement. This is what happened & he got fatter & richer on this community’s money.

    The problem I think is EGO – Tamir’s. He made a mistake. Or he was played for a fool. Either way he refuses to admit his errors of judgment and so he digs himself into an even deeper hole. Resign! A man of principle & integrity would…& therein lies the ultimate issue. Tamir doesn’t have integrity or principle.

    Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were GUILTY! I was in Moscow when the KGB files were opened and they showed that these traitors did exactly what they were punished for.

    While they were sadly duped by the ridiculous ideas of Communism, what they did was rishus that put the world in danger for many, many years and is still affecting us now.

    Indeed, there was a snitch who was guilty too but just as is the case with Mafia prosecutions, sometimes a snitch is the only way to get the necessary information.

    I am tired of the left wing dupes within Chabad who try to find excuses for every left wing rosho, Jewish or otherwise.T They are our fifth column; they may be Chabad on the outside but inside they are still Weathermen or whatever radical group they were part of in the 60’s and 70’s.

    Are you actually suggesting that a fellow Jew take another fellow Jew to a secular court as a first resort? There are not many Aveiras worse than that. I believe just about all of kashrus ranks below this particular Lav.

    Let’s back up a little bit.

    Bechiras for a Rav was made because:
    A) a Bes din needs 3 Rabbonim and before the Elul elections we had only 2 Rabbonim, Rabbis Osdoba and Shvai, after this Bes din paskened that Rabbis Zirkind, Segal and Raitport were out.
    B) Specially this case when Rabbi Osdoba and Rabbi Shwai didn’t get along to well.

    Bottom line this Elul election was to complete the Bais Din.
    Now since so far Rabbi Osdoba is not accepting Rabbi Braun as the 3rd Rav so;
    A) We are back to the original problem which is that we don’t have a third Rav in the Bais Din and
    B) Even if Rabbi Braun would be the greatest Rav with the biggest Smicha in the world, that’s not what he was voted in for. He was voted as 3rd rav and if he is not coming as 3rd rav than he has no votes. He was not voted as a seperate Rav or as Rav with Rabbi Shwai.
