Good Bye Rabbi Braun
Yes they will be saying good bye to Rabbi Yosef Braun, but it’s the Sydney community in which he served for 7 years that will be bidding their farewells as the Braun family will be making their controversial move to Crown Heights.
In an email to the Tzemach Tzedek community in Sydney, Australia they write that the Braun families departure for the states is planned for the 2nd of Adar II, March 8th. In the email the community was soliciting ideas for a good bye party and for people to chip in for a gift to the rabbi and his family. The party is scheduled to take place in two weeks time.
This move comes after a 3rd party Beis Din issued an Ikul effectively postponing Rabbi Brauns taking the position of a Rabbi until they rule on the many Semicha issues that have been raised. CrownHeights.info has heard from sources that Rabbi Rosenberg instructed the parties to adhere to the new Beis Din. A story on who brought this new Din Torah will follow later on this week with more information.

The Mosser Elie Poltorak and Zev Cadaner are attempting to blackmail Crown Heights residents who signed there names to the Din Torah Regrading the Ikul.
Poltorak and Codaner are threating these people that if they don’t take their signatures off the Din Torah they will harm their families.
Blackmail is illegal. If you signed and are getting phone calls or harassed in the street by anybody, please record this (use your phone to either record and video), blackmailing is a major crime.
A message to Poltorak, Cadaner, Hendel and the rest of the Mossrim gang:
1. this is not Russia , Iran nor Libya, this is the United States Of America, we still have freedom of choice.
2. Trust me when I say this: Braun is the very least of your problems now. A major storm is coming, the higher you stick your heads out, the harder the storm will hit.
3. Where is the Millions missing from the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council Inc.
Where is the millions stolen from government grant, meant to help the needy of Crown Heights?
Nice
About time I hope everything works out for him personally and professionaly Avos Israel is the main thing to focus on.

Where is the love?
It is obvious that the publishers of this website do not approve of Rabbi Braun’s election, and they are absolutely entitled to that opinion, I pass no judgment on that. In fact, the strong stand behind Rabbi Osdaba’s statements and questions concerning Rabbi Braun’s eligibility is commendable. There should be no doubts about any of our Rabonim, and hopefully those issues will be cleared up very soon.
The first thing that I thought when I saw the headline is that Rabbi Braun was disqualified and is returning to Australia. That is obviously not the case, as the first sentence in the article clarifies. The not-so-subtle message that is “hidden” in this headline is so distasteful and mean-spirited. What will happen when and if Rabbi Braun is vindicated? How terribly will we regret all of the vitriol and hate that was pointlessly and shamefully hurled in his direction? Let us live with the spirit of chabad and by the principles of chassidus: love of our fellow man, ahavas chinam.

I would so chip in for a plan ticket BACK to australia.

The fact that He is leaving Australia is one thing but of his own doing he has brought more Machlokes & Tzarus by playing fast & loose.Rav Rosenberg shoving him down our throats even more suspicious? Why haven’t the other Rabbonim involved with this spoken out or at least said why they went along with Rosenberg or did they? To go & Blame Rav Osdoba for asking simple questions & wanting to assure himself & Anash that A Rav is a Rav & means something iswrong.Braun put himself in this situation.By playing these games he cannot & should not be a member of the Bais din. As for Rav Schwei he was pushed in by the Poltiburo & they control his every move otherwise how can one not question these events.Who are some of the ones that spoke out? not the Usual who you would think Mashpiim wh generally never involve themselves in politics but chose to speak out for obvious reasons

Pain makes you scream! And yes, scream at the one who caused you the pain!
Over here, That’s Rabbi Braun. The ellection was good news to CH – and yes, we are a good, choshuvah and deserving community, contrary to what all the cynics say!
Back to the ellections
– We were about to put a full stop to Machlokes, although certain individuals cant seem to get enough of it. Those individuals pushed him in, late, an underaged man with questionable smichos. Do you think he had no part in it? He allowed himself to be pushed in and create more trouble! He wasn’t thinking of the hundreds of CHers who would be hurt, by his desire to be a rov. He wasn’t thinking of the Machlokes that he could prevent. Now, he schlepped the whole CH into the mud together with himself. No wonder were a bit upset with this rabbi! I love him dearly, #9, but that doesnt give him an excuse to destroy a community by having a questionable rov and undesired figure as authority over it, hurting a community behind their back!
Back to Basics
Instead of spending all this energy on possuling a Rav, let’s focus on removing those who are in power in clear opposition to the Rebbe’s Will.

Stop talking nonsense
Rabbi Braun is needed in Sydney. Probably the cleverest and most knowledgeable Yid here.
Aidel Bloom(I am not afraid to publish)
To posters #’s 2 & 8…. Where did you get your medical degrees? You are beyond rude and display an extreme lack of maturity.
I live in Sydney, DO NOT go to Tzemach Tzedek Shul, never left the shul of the Rebbe’s shliach, and I am disgusted by the way you have treated Rabbi Braun.
He is a brilliant man, and will add so much to C.H.
His children will show you all how the apple does not fall far from the tree when you have them in your schools.
I think perhaps you are jealous of such a talented family coming into your community b/c you will see how far removed C.H. is from the Rebbe.
STOP IT!!!
Terrible. I am sick of your one sidedness Fuy!

i got excited from the titel
The headline got me happy for a moment..
I wish it was a ticket from CH
Ashamed!
This article and all the comments are outright disgusting!
CHTUZPAY - TO COMMENT ON A JEW-S DEMEANO
CHUTZPAH – to COMMENT ON THE RAV’S DEMEANOR! CHUTZPAH to comment about a rabbi or even a Jewish layman, in this way.
WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING THE YOUNGER PEOPLE – RAW DISRESPECT and RAW LACK OF AHAVAS YISROEL!! NOT TO SPEAK OF THE LOSHEN HORA! Come on people! We have to take care of these careless comments!!!
THIS COMMENTS HAS N O T H I N G TO DO WITH POLITICS AT ALL – ZERO – ZIPPO!

Whoever wrote the comment in number 2 and number 8 if you have nothing nice to say don’t say it. its rude and really immature.

Hey stop complaining, want to lead a good life? Now is the time to move to Australia. Supposedly they got rid of their Chometz before Pesach. Soon Purim is coming up and It’s Venahapochu time, so living in down under is what’s it all about. There you see how easy that was.
Yaakov with the hands
What a load of loshon hara…you should be ashamed of yourselves..I moved to Sydney 10 months ago and have gotten to know Rabbi Braun and can attest wholeheartedly that he is a tremendous scholar, a major contributor to the community, and a delightful, compassionate, sober family man. Are your hearts filled with such bitterness that you cannot control your senseless hatred for a fellow Jew who deserves the same respect and consideration you expect for your self and loved ones. After the furor dies down and Rabbi Braun becomes beloved in your estimation how will you apologize for this outrageous and infantile behavior? Will it serve as a value lesson for the future? Will you exercise self-control and maintain an openmind before you stir up a hatestorm without rationale nor reason?…For the sake of Achtus remember the Rebbe and how he conducted himself and act accordingly!
Yomim al yemai melech toisef..
I look forward to welcoming our new Rov and wish him much success and due respect from everyone. Anyone who wants to live against Torah and Shulchan Aruch should be scared and leave the Rebbe’s Shchuna to be left alone elsewhere!
need to stay untill
untill the bais din is setteld he shall stay where he is. the fact that there was lies about his candecy is anough to show that he is being pusht in by certin pepole and that is a big problem. many pepole who found out the truth ofter the ellection are very upset and would have not voted for him. now we see that it was pusht to fast and it was a trick so the ellection is not a valid one.
watching
not living in CH, but close by and reading material about Braun, I can not help but see how much machlokes he has caused, how much loshen hara, how much recilus, who is going to split the community (lubavitchers and brauners) why would someone who is so so so much not wanted in a neighborhood still push his way in? does he think that osdoba and schwei will work with him? maybe schwei who is told what to do, why are you coming when the majority does not want you? The few people who want you are making a loud campaign for you so we hear them and they make it sound like you are wanted, but the majority does not want you. Don’t you get it? You are the cause of machlokes. Is this healthy? Do you want this on your consciouns? .

the goodbye party will indeed be a celebration

Good comment Aidel Bloom
we want answers
rabbi rosenberg did not push away the IKUL 0look on top) so as we see its not so simple. all of you claming its Loshon Horah is trying to run from the true fact. the fact is we have a rite to have the questions answerd. let him answer the pepole’s concerns and put the problem to rest. its no secret that there is a group of pepole who have a agende. this is not russia. we are in a democrat country

At least our rabbonim here in EY really have smicha & shimush!!!!!!
Inda Know
Not “Loshon HoRah” but “Motzei Shaim Roh”!
Just visited
Having visited Sydney, it is keday to give observations:
1) The Tzemach Tzedek shul has spiraled downward in the last 2 years. They cannot afford a rov for the 20-30 families of Anash who are still members.
2) Anyone who has seen the invitation can notice that people are being begged to come. “Please come. He has touched everyone’s life.” If someone has touched your life would you need to be pleeded to come? There are rumors that he has touched some lives, whatever…
3) It is no kuntz to be considered a very big talmid chochem in a community of ameratzim. (Aidel Bloom is not a talmud scholar, but a brave balebosteh who maybe knows how to be mafrish challa, and almost certainly doesn’t know how to kasher a piece of meat. How would she know if Brown does?)
4) Brown is a nice man with a geshmakeh family. So what? He is a talmid chochem. So what? There are dozens sloshing around in Lubavitch. Is he a deep genuine person? I don’t know. Like someone wrote a comment a few months ago: A farmer was asked by his maturing son, what it the relevnce of Chad Gadya to the Seder. Not knowing the answer he said (under the influence of four cups) Well, its after midnite, and he bought a goat for two zuzz? Sounds like something fishy here.
loud and clear
rabbi rosenberg was shown part of the evidence, that is why he is no longer backaing zakai on this issue. intial he was gung ho, about the ikul; not being a problem, it is obvious that he is now singing a diffrent song.
i am not sure how braun can totaly ignore this.
The Shotgune Expert
Can you plant a time bomb in a room and then complain when people want to throw it back at you?
Possible complaints against throwing it: You will teach our children it is OK to throw bombs?
How can you do this to living people. Where is ahava habriyoiss?
Anyone care to continue the litany of shtussevateh comments which ignore who is the aggressor here.
To rush the issue where there are serious people asking questions they consider serious? That is ahava yisroel? Anshei Sholom? Why does the average CHs citizen not realize that this was a “shotgun” appointment? Would you want your son to marry his shidduch when after the vort the kallahs family is pushing for an immediate chupah? Would you not start digging to find out why? (Probably not because even a suspicion of the need to rush the wedding would turn you off the whole deal.)
Off the Grapevine
Evidence of what? Something new? Like the hush hush talk…?
lets have achdus
Everyone wants moshiach to come!!!!!
But everyone is fighting we have to have achdus. “United we stand divided we fall”
There is no reason to be so negative.
there shouldn’t be any fighting.
Lets all have ahavas yisroel- the bies din us everyone lets all make the best of things and bring moshiach now!

What? I need English lessons because I accidentally mispelled the word plane? You’ve never misspelled anything in your life while typing?
And more importantly- with all the important things going on in Lubavitch today, you care more about my spelling than anything else?
Pathetic.
Rabbi???
Isn’t it REB Braun
CH resident..
To Mrs Eidel Bloom
And all people who cry let’s make peace….
The Rebbe -Nossi Doreinu- set up very clear rules and conditions according to Shulchan Aruch, who is allowed to be a Rov.
A) He must be free from any educational position, mashpia etc… If he holds any position (even a very small one) he can NOT run for a Rov.
B) He MUST have Semicha from famous rabbonim.
C) He MUST have Shimush from a Rov Moreh horo’oh.
This man broke ALL 3 rules he violated all 3 conditions of the Rebbeh ….Why should we, as Lubavitcher Chassidim who follow the Rebbe, do the OPPOSITE of the Rebbes clear Horoos… just to help Yossi Broin memaleh his big Taavoh to be a Rov ??
How dare you -or anyone- tell us off and scream at us to be nice (in the name of peace) and violate the Rebbes commands??? If you are a Chossid of the rebbe ,and you want real peace then do the right thing… Scream at HIM and tell HIM off to stay away from the Rebbes neighborhood… Only then we will have real peace.

Zev Cadaner is being sued by members of Congregation Shaare Zedek in West New York, NJ. The suit alleges that he took advantage of the two elderly boardmembers and manipulated them into signing over title to this multi million dollar synogogue to him and rabbi schneur Zalman Hertzel

maybe you forgot the meaning of those words?
or maybe you never really understood them.
most likely you never did….:(

I want to say Aidel Bloom you are the only credible source of info here. All the other people have not put down their names and their info. can’t be verified.
TO #48
Mrs. Bloom is not the only credible comment at all. She was writing in favor of “Rabbi” Braun. But those writing against “Rabbi” Braun are purposely writing in anonymity, as they have what to fear from being terrorized by goons.
goon@wannabe.com
Pick me. Can i also be a goon?
TO EVERYONE!
One thing I’m glad to see. That out of 50 comments, almost half are fed up with this hate campaign. I believe that’s a change for the good on this particular website. “One by one Hashem will take us by the hand and lead us out of this golus.” Did you know that the Rebbe said that the rabbanim are the Yehoshua of today? He said this in a public will…. unfortunately, this is not publicised enough. R. Braun was elected fairly. End of! When something really good comes, the Satan tries his utmost to stop it. And lastly, Aidel, bless you for having the guts to put your name here!!!
HO HUM, in the name of the already bored
#51. Score 1+; 1-.
1. More comments against hate come from the same few keyboards.
*The intelligence (de3ficiency) is so transparent.
*Supporting the rush to seal-the-deal while there exits so much doubt, and so many doubters.
*Then claiming to stand for Ahavas Yisroel.
*Ignoring the absence of critical information before the election.
*Then declaring “He was elected.” (HE wasn’t. A VIRTUAL-BROIN was elected. He will be welcomed to come to a virtual Crown Heights, and make virtual piskei din. Probably for many virtual supporters, with proficient keyboards.)
2. You quote the Rebbe’s sicha (the Living Will) that the Rabbonim are like the Yehoshua of this generation.
*Speak of hitting the nail on the head: That is precisely why a Hungarian raised “genius” would persist and insist on coming, against all the dislike. HE (in his dreams r“l) will be the Yehoshua of OU DOR.
* Those that oppose, are in the ”knows”, ’cause they hear quite clear, that Pinchas with his spear, would arouse a great cheer. (Election results would be quite different if we women were aloud to vote, knowing then what is emerging in the latest.)
Responses
TO #49….. Very well stated.
TO #50…… What are you saying? If you can’t say something that makes sense, better not say it at all.
TO #51….. How could you say “Rabbi” Braun was elected fairly when he is not even a Rav? Are you a follower of the Lubavitcher Rebbe or not?
Amazed!
All of these comments really amount to nothing. It’s very simple if Rabbi Brown honestly has Smicha he should be running to show the document to 3 independant Rabbonim and put all of this to rest! If he doesn’t have Smicha (and why a Chossid of the Rebbe would NOT have gotten Smicha as a Bochur as per the Rebbe’s ho’oros is a question I haven’t heard any explanation for!!!) then the whole campaign to have him elected as a Rov inCrown Heights was based on falsehood, so what kind of a Rav is that?!!
