Beis Din Under One Roof
As of Friday, Rabbi Yaacov Schwei moved back into the offices of the Crown Heights Bais Din at 390 Kingston Avenue after years of divide. “One Crown Heights, one Badatz” is the new reality since last Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Mishpotim, perhaps signaling a new era in the Brooklyn neighborhood’s Jewish leadership.
After years of Rabbi Yaakov Schwei maintaining separate offices from the official Badatz offices at 390 Kingston Avenue, he has now moved back in under the same roof as Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba.
The move was in accordance to one of the mandates of the psak made by the Zabla Bais Din, headed by Monsey Dayan Rabbi Avrohom Rosenberg, that all of the rabbonim of the Beis Din must convene in one location only.
Effective immediately, 390 Kingston is the sole address for the Beis Din Tzedek of Crown Heights.
“Bringing all of the rabbonim under one roof begashmiyus, is a tremendous milestone in restoring a united Beis Din and a united Crown Heights,” said Zaki Tamir, Chairman of the Vaad Hakohol.

WHERE IS BRAUNS DOOR
Meaningless
The photos of the two doors of Rabbi Osdoba and Rabbi Schwei in the same office are meaningless. There is no Beis Din yet, because there is no third Rav. There has not yet been any answer to the document written by Rav Yoel Kahan, Rav Avrohom Gerlitzky and Rav Berel Levin, which is a document that is the absolute truth, through and through. With no proper answers to their points and questions, the election was never valid and there is no third Rav for the Beis Din. New elections need to be called for immediately. This whole charade of showing the two rabbonim in the same office is truly meaningless until a new election is held to complete the Beis Din properly according to halacha.

Before you published this. You should have asked Rabbi Osdoba if this is true. The facts are not precisely as you make them seem.

what about braun!

Kol Hakavod! This is truly a great new beginning.
Let’s not be fooled – the is lots of work cut out for the community, but this is certainly a very positive step in the right direction.
May we go ‘michayil el choyil’ as a UNITED community, with much more ‘Ahavas Yisroel’.
Let’s forget the past and try to work towards a better future for all of us. for our children. for the Rebbe.

what is this a game? so they now share a floor. it saves on rent, i guess. lets get real. we are not in kindergarten. it’s going to take much more than this to bring peace to CH. we need an adult in the leadership position.
Dear #8. Meaningless
“real” lubavithcers follow the instructions of the Rebbe and the Shulchan Aruch! When there is a Psak Din from a Beis Din of a Zablo, an ehliche, poshute, yid follows the Psak to the T – regardless if it makes him happy or not.
(the Rebbe stated publicly, MANY times, that if one says something in the Rebbe’s name which is inconsistent with the Shulchan Aruch, you should know that it is 1000% false!)
All you are trying to do, is to undermine the athority and acceptance of the Beis Din.
By the way, did you respect the Badatz 10-15 years ago? did the authors of the “document” you refer to respect them?
To #15
The Bais din of 5 Rabbonim – did not even listen TO THEIR OWN GUIDELINES!! They kept on changing it and changing it again to fit Mendy Hendel’s Agenda. Forgot about them! Let’s focus now on why Rabbi Braun forged documents! Is THAT an Erlica Rav?! YOU decide…!

Who is Rabbi Erlica is she a reform rabbi?
TO #15
You obviously are avoiding the main point in Comment #8. You would be advised to read the letter from Rav Yoel Kahan and the other 2 Rabbonim very carefully and then you would see that the fact is that the psak is what is against the Shulchan Aruch – and therefore it is not to be listened to, as you yourself stated in your comment. Therefore, in essence you are agreeing to what it says in Comment #8 without even realizing it.

To # 17:
I think Rabbi Erlicha is one of Rabbi Osdoba’s advisors. But he can only consult with her on the phone, because of yichud!
Levi
Have you ever heard of the term “metaher sheretz be’150 ta’amim”?
Yes, someone of the caliber of Reb Yoel can write amazing and persuasive arguments. BUT, as frume yiden and chassidim guided only by the directives of our holy Rebbe, we MUST follow Halacha = Rabbonim and their Psak din (the zablo).
Reb Yoel can have his brilliant brainstorms, but chassidim MUST follow Halacha. the Rebbe stated many times – publicly – that one should NOT listed to ANYTHING said in his holy name, if it’s contrary to Halacha.
Bottom line: Reb Yoel will NEVER accept a Psak Din if it does not favor his “agenda”. he will always find clever/brilliant arguments against it. in truth, a smart man can come up with arguments for or against ANY position.
Ehriliche Yiden follow Halacha – as paskend by a Bais Din. everything else is ‘daas baaley batim……’

Please read comment #18 and you will see that what you said about Rav Yoel Kahan shlita is absolutely incorrect.
