Shluchim Come Out in Support of Rabbi Bogomilsky

A group of nearly 40 Shluchim signed a letter in support of Rabbi Moshe Bogomilsky in the upcoming elections for Rabbonus in Crown Heights.

Dear residents of Crown Heights ‘ שי , The Rebbe’s Shechuna,

It is no secret that this Sunday there will be elections for a new Rov. It is not our intention to meddle, campaign, or even to tell you whom to vote for. We do however feel the responsibility to inform you of the character of the candidate we have come to know. The quiet Kol D’mama Daka of Rabbi Bogomilsky is unique to us as Shluchim in our respective communities.

We have found Rabbi Bogomilsky to be extremely accessible at all times of day or night always answering the phone or promptly returning messages, quick to reply to emails and letters and very sensitive to each question and scenario. Always patiently listening to the details and not interrupting although he may already know the answer.

He has a special talent to arbitrate by negotiating a compromise in the majority of disputes coming his way instead of giving a ruling favoring one party over the other.

A tremendous amount of care and concern is paid to each individual, carefully taking into consideration what a person might be going through emotionally or physically, not just coldly dictating the Halacha.

This all in addition to being an enormous Talmid Chacham who is fluent in modern Halchaic responsa as well as the classic texts. Rabbi Bogomilsky is also an author of many books and is a teacher par excellence.

We feel that Rabbi Bogomilsky will be a tremendous asset to the Crown Heights community and to the Beis Din. The experience he has and the truly apolitical stance he takes will make the Beis Din more united and respected.

With blessings for a K’siva V’chasima Tovah,

With all due respect to the 40 Shluchim, were you to live here in CH you might be singing a different tune. You don’t live here, we do, we don’t want to be stuck with someone of your choosing. Please extend us, the local anash, the courtesy of making our own decision in this important monumental election for Rov.

    B”H

Concerning this Sunday’s election for Rav, I personally support and urge all of my friends and fellow anash to vote for Rabbi Moshe Bogomilsky.

Over the past 35 years, I’m personally familiar with Rabbi Bogomilsky’s wisdom, sensitivity and commitment to the Rebbe, the shluchim, the Baalei Teshuva and achdus and well-being of all anash. His involvement with answering our shailos, making peace, honestly overseeing a large and active gemach, compassionately and wisely handling Chevra Kaddisha and giving shiurim and being a teacher/principal and being the Rabbi of a shul in our community. Everyone is welcome, treated with warmth and kindness.

He was always close with Shimshon and Benjy, who we all owe so much, and has a great working relationship with Rabbi Osdoba and Rabbi Shvei.

We should not miss this opportunity. He is a real gem.

Please vote, this Sunday, for Rabbi Moshe Bogomilsky.

    K’sivs v’chasima tova,

    Moshe Schneider

  • To number one 1

    with all do respect
i see a very nice letter of rabbi’s who testify to the character of a rabbi they know and like.
this is very nice to see jews say nice things on other jews .
unlike the baalei machloikes from crown heights who only now slander and hate.

  • To #1 -and other slfish shellfish.

    770 is reshus harabim.
Currently there is a bor (or many boors) treading all over.
Shluchim would like to share positive vibes in this headquarters of their shlichus.
They are not dictating to you, they are stating their opinion so everyone can be aware of it.

Rabbi Braun who was blessed with an answer from the igrois, to leave Sydney, will bring his igrois here. When was the last time someone told you he had an answer to do the opposite of what he wanted? It does happen – but Rabbi Braun has lost credibility in his interview. He was slick and presented a monumental lie that there is no machloikess in Sydney. Iheard there is no machloikess in Satmar. It’s just a way of life to Williamsburgers.

  • ELI DOVID GRUNDZWEIG

RABBI BRAUN SOULD PLEASE TAKE A IGROS AND GO BACK TO WILLIAMSBURG TO WHERE HE CAME FROM.

HE DID NOT COM TO LUBAVITCH TO TEL LUBAVITCH WHAT TO DO; HE CAME TO LUBAVITCH TO BE MEKABEL FROM LUBAVITCH, AND IF HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THAT, HE DOES NOT BELONG IN LUBAVITCH AT ALL.

WE HAVE ANOUGH CHAZEIRIM AND AZEI PONIM WE DONT NEED MORE.

  • C.H.

whatever happens in Crown Heights effects the world, of course Shulchim should be concerned.

  • Yechi HaMelech

Sluchim need a place to bring their mekuravim.
To show them true yddishkeit and chassidus, and Chabad.
    A shul without shtik.

Would Broin vote to pasken that signs and flags have no place in a Lubavitcher shul? Even the Modim signs posted in so many shuls was avoided in ours.

Shluchim want to create shomrey torah umitzvois, not believers in the “true faith” who consult igrois for guidance.

  • advise

I think we should also get advise from Shalom Rubashkin who to vote for. He would be the best person to advise us who to vote for.

  • thank you shluchim

I didn”t know which Rav to vote for,I was just so confused. But now the shluchim helped me, and I just feel sooo happy that they helped me decide.Yasher Kochich
