Hecht and Wilhelm Reinstated as Candidates for Vaad
The Bais Din, headed by Rabbi Avrohom B. Rosenberg, has reversed its ruling from last week which disqualified two candidates from running in the elections for Vaad Hakohol. Rabbi Shea Hecht and Rabbi Zalman Wilhelem have been returned to the ballot.
The two were initially disqualified after being challenged by the new vaad, along with one other candidate – Yossi Hackner who was not disqualified, on the grounds that they head up Moisdos in the community. The Bais Din reversed its ruling on appeal by the old vaad, and stated that it was due to “many factors, but not limited to, the fact that the criteria for being a candidate was not proper advertised and that the actual bylaws are vague on the matter.”
NEW PAGE IN HISTORY BOOK
the common sense won
Thank god maybe just maybe there is hope for crown heights.

Relieved
I hope the self proclaimed “champions of democracy” in the acting board will rejoice in this decision. This gives a large segment of the community an opportunity to support candidates they really want. Boruch Hashem!

Good new indeed!
MaDDinBklyn
So sperlin and poltrac couldn’t come through with the bribe money, so these two good men had to be reinstated, because like it says in ther article “the fact that the criteria for being a candidate was not proper advertised and that the actual bylaws are vague on the matter.”
There was never any factual basis to disqualify them, only on the say so of ”the new vaad“ because they know that if g-d forbid any of the ”new vaad” are elected again any of these two will not let them get away with all the crap they’ve pulled since the fake elections.
Condemed to repeat?
A new history page is good provided we learn from our past mistakes other wise they will be repeated and the new page will only be a copy of the last one.
VOTE HACKNER

Good to hear the news.
E poltdrek we had enough
E, Polt you so called leader of the Loosing party
You disturbed the holiest day of the year Rosh Hashana , you hurt the whole community with your vild keit in 770
You owe us the 2nd day of Rosh hashana , when you jumped on the bima like a monkey and caused a rokus during Kriyas Hatorah , I did not hear Kriyas Hatorah on Rosh
hashana .
You are condemmed ,I did not hear any regret on your part Get out of Crown Heights , take your Shtik to Satmar .
The community will find peace without monkeys like you
What a shame you carry
Time to move on
chaimson
Chanina go home bow out before you loose 20 years of doing nothing now its your turn bye bye!!!!!!
BIAS PERSON
I am a relative and co-worker of Rabbi Shea. My question to Shea and to the community is: What can he accomplish for the community, in the postion of member of Vaad Hakahal, that he isn’t already accomplishing through his position and effectiveness under the auspices of NCFJE???. He accomplishes a great deal (more than anyone knows or could imagine) for individuals as well as communal without going under the banner of Crown Heights Community Counsel. I’m all for his running for this position if he can improve and correct many issues, but he his already doing that!! Please, seriously, someone give me a good reason why I should be happy with his running??!!
poltrack must go (and chanina)
2 people who have only caused tzar and suffering to the shchuna
observer
with comments like these there is no way that any achdus is going to ever get achieved in this community. and in your words, i would say kick all of these people out of ch and let them go to satmar vechulu, al derech ze….
Chanina has to go
Please Chanina , take Eli Slavonic with you when you leave,
He had enough pictures with your phony friends who did nothing for us.
Nice to hear about summer camps for the poor at the last minute ,registration is in January for camps, late Mailings to CH residents, its not going to work , this shows your fake grandstanding.
L Groner has a job opening for you , he in desperate need of a shlepper
Its interesting , all failures are Eli

a good move
I think now that there is this clarification in who can run, the elections should be delayed to allow others as well as organization leaders to run
antimesira
The mesira is still in court, so why are these mosrim still in?
hecht is the man
I think Hecht is a great idea. But he must resign from his role in ncfje – he takes a large paycheck, which is deserved but he cant do that and represent the community.
ceo
those who did not represent the Rebbe and his people, should have stepped down in dignity instead of going down by lowering themselves and taking others with them, as well as the dignity of kan tziva es habracha.
I pray that this new move which does sound great, can be a sense of stability where we can thrive in “fresh air” and really grow in many ways.
those who need help should get it, its not shameful. Its respectful to get help
ROFL
To #12
After electing a clown in wild crazy colors, nothing matches, & those G-d-awful suspenders, you’re worried about Shea Hecht’s hat??
Lucky Charms
I wonder if Rabbi Rosenberg owns a pair of flip flops? If so, does he keep them on the fence? I keep picturing an oscillating fan while doing alternate side of the street parking. Why in world would I respect the unwavering and resolute?
vaad hamalbushim elections
Red yarmulka, matching red bowtie, and a gamblers hat… competition for Poltorac’s thrift shop collection. Why are all these politician wannabes, in such desparate need of attention? Its good we have Dr. Spinner running – hopefuly he could give these guys the meds they so desparately need.
A crown heights resident
Is it possible to actually have good clean elections without bashmutzing? Can’t everyone limit their comments to positively stating something. Yes, I agree- we need new blood and energy in the Vaad only. Enough said, no need to stoop lower.
Each comment is read by community members, and others. It is also read by children You are looking to build a community? Then act like community members as the Rebbe wants and state things in a positive way. You don’t want others bashmutzing you? Well, try not to do that to anyone else!!!
