Car Menorahs Parade Through Canada’s Capital
On Sunday, the fifth night of Chanukah, the second annual public Menorah lighting in Kanata – a suburb of Ottawa – was dedicated in memory of Rabbi Mordechai Berger, OBM, the Rebbe’s first Shliach to Canada’s capital city.
Rabbi Berger, OBM, had helped to organize and participated in the first annual Menorah lighting, which took place in Kanata one year earlier.
After the lighting, a parade of car Menorahs traveled from Kanata to Ottawa’s Parliament Hill.
