Chabad at Minnesota Timberwolves Heritage Night

On the eighth night of Chanuka the Minnesota Timberwolves held their annual Jewish Heritage Night in conjunction with the local Minneapolis Jewish Federation and the United Jewish Fund and Council of St. Paul.

Prior to the Basketball Game there was a “Dreidel Spin off”, and Kosher food was available.

After sharing a Chanuka Message of the Rebbe with the assembled crowd Rabbi Menachem Mendel Feller of Chabad Lubavitch invited Timberwolves general anager David Kahn to light the Chabad Lubavitch sponsored Menorah.

Mr. Kahn chanted the brachos and kindled the Menorah assisted by several children in the crowd, and the lighting was featured on the scoreboard during the second quarter.
