Two Suspected Terrorists, Under Suspicion of Involvement In Ambulance Arson, Released on Bail in the UK

Two British men arrested in connection with the shocking antisemitic arson attack that destroyed four Hatzolah ambulances in Golders Green, London, have now been released on bail, according to reports.

The suspects, aged 45 and 47, were taken into custody earlier this week on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life, following what authorities have described as a targeted hate crime against the Jewish community. On Thursday, police confirmed that both men have been released under strict bail conditions while counterterrorism officers continue their probe.

Three masked individuals were captured on CCTV approaching the Hatzolah vehicles with accelerants before setting them ablaze and fleeing the scene.

The resulting inferno engulfed all four ambulances, triggering multiple explosions from onboard oxygen cylinders. Windows in nearby buildings were shattered, and dozens of residents were forced to evacuate. Miraculously, no injuries were reported.

The ambulances belonged to Hatzola Northwest, a volunteer-run emergency service that provides lifesaving medical care to the local community. The attack temporarily crippled the organization’s fleet, reducing its operational capacity, though volunteers continued responding to emergencies without interruption.

Authorities have emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing, noting that at least three suspects were involved based on surveillance footage. Police are continuing efforts to identify additional individuals connected to the attack.

While officials are probing a possible claim of responsibility by a group with alleged ties to Iran, the incident has not formally been classified as a terrorist attack.
