Parents Invited to Pesach Webinar on Creating a More Engaging Seder for Children

As Pesach approaches, many parents are looking for ways to make the night truly impactful for their children.

The Seder is meant to be memorable, but for many children, it can feel long, hard to follow, and irrelevant. It’s not uncommon for kids to lose focus, flip through Maggid, or just wait for the meal instead of feeling like they’re part of the story.

A new webinar hosted by the Merkos Chinuch Office is designed to help parents change that.

Built around the Rebbe’s perspective on “והגדת לבנך” and “בכל דור ודור,” the webinar will focus on helping parents engage their children in a real way, so children feel connected to the seder, and walk away carrying the messages of Yetzias Mitzrayim with them beyond Yom Tov.

Led by Rabbi Hertzel Pewzner, a mashpia at Tomchei Temimim in Morristown, NJ, known for presenting profound Chassidus ideas in a practical, clear and engaging way, the session will offer tips to elevate the Seder and help shape a child’s Yiddishkeit, with clear, realistic ideas that can actually be used at the table.

“The Rebbe taught us that the entire seder was created to engage our children.” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, General Chairman of the Merkos Chinuch Office. “We hope this webinar will give parents the tools to bring that to life in a meaningful way.”

This program is part of the Chinuch Office’s popular series titled “The Rebbe’s Chinuch Language, Seder Edition,” bringing timeless concepts into clear, practical guidance for today’s homes.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 6 Nissan at 8:30 PM via Zoom and is geared toward parents who want a more engaging Seder experience for their children.
