Chabad of South Broward Brings Purim Joy to Thousands – Contributors to their Campaign Will Enter Raffle
For the 46th consecutive year, Chabad of South Broward distributed Shalach Monos, smiles, and the Purim spirit to hundreds of Seniors in South Broward Nursing Homes and Retirement Homes.
The noble effort was coordinated by Rabbi Yossi Lebovics, principal of the Chaya Aydel Seminary and the Seminary students who come from all over the world to study at the Seminary in Hallandale Beach. The Chaya Aydel Seminary is now in its 24th year!
Rabbi Raphael Tennenhaus, Dean of the Seminary and the executive Vice President of Chabad of South Broward for 46 years, explains that this Mitzvah has been a most remarkable manner in lifting the spirits of the loneliest and neediest in the community:
“Pursuant to the request of our Rebbe, to bring the joy of Purim to the most lonely and vulnerable, this great outreach effort lifts the spirits of so many men and women who otherwise would be forgotten.
For those who cannot make it to the Synagogue on Purim, we bring the Synagogue and the Purim spirit to them, guaranteeing that No Jew is Left Behind in this most joyous Jewish Holiday on the Calendar”.
