A Blizzard Blessing: Costa Rican CTeens Warm Up at Hadar Hatorah
When a New York blizzard left a group of CTeens from Costa Rica stranded, they didn’t just find shelter—they found a home. The group made their way to Hadar Hatorah for an impromptu, high-energy farbrengen, proving that the warmth of Chassidus can melt even the toughest winter storm. The farbrengen was led by Yeshiva-Alum Reuven Mizrachi and current bochur Dovid Kuzniak.
This is exactly why we are here: to be a lighthouse for searching youth and to provide a dedicated space where guys who learned in public school feel they truly belong. Seeing the next generation of baalei teshuvah realize that Torah and Chassidus are their personal inheritance is what drives everything we do.
Shluchim have already begun bringing their teens through our doors, we are more excited than ever to expand this connection. We want the “Hadar Hatorah experience” to be a staple for every teen who visits New York. We hope to see even more Shluchim catch the spark and bring their groups by next year—blizzard or not!
