Shluchos Mark Chof Beis Shevat at the Ohel, Concluding the Kinus

The Kinus Hashluchos came to a close Monday as thousands of shluchos marked Chof Beis Shevat, the 38th yahrtzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, at the Ohel.

Following Sunday’s gala banquet, shluchos gathered for a final, deeply personal moment of prayer and reflection, before returning to their posts around the world.

“The Ohel visit is the centerpiece of the Kinus,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Director of the International Kinus Hashluchos. “After days of workshops, farbrengens, and reconnecting with one another, shluchos come to the Rebbe, their true source of inspiration, before returning to their communities. They leave knowing they are not alone.”

Before entering the Ohel, shluchos gathered for a hachana program of Tehillim and Mishnayos. Mrs. Rivky Brikman, Shlucha in Sea Gate, Brooklyn, addressed the group with words of preparation and inspiration ahead of the visit.

Inside the Ohel, Shluchos davened for continued success in their Shlichus, and prayed on behalf of the communities they represent. Mrs. Shterna Grunblatt, Shlucha in Buenos Aires, Argentina, read the Pan Kloli on behalf of all shluchos, carrying with her the tefillos of women from around the globe.

A farbrengen followed with Mrs. Sara Korn, Shlucha in Manhattan, and Mrs. Chani Shemtov, Shlucha in Chicago.

From there, shluchos began returning home, with renewed strength to continue the Rebbe’s mission in their corner of the world.
