Preparations Complete as Thousands Begin Arriving for Kinus Hashluchos

After months of preparation, final touches are being put in place today as Crown Heights prepares to welcome more than 4,500 shluchos from over 100 countries for the annual Kinus Hashluchos, the International Conference of Shluchos.

Registration opened today at the Jewish Children’s Museum, where shluchos from far-flung locations have already begun arriving. Over the coming days, they will be joined by thousands more, transforming Crown Heights into a global gathering of Jewish women leaders.

The five-day conference, running through Monday, brings together leaders who are among the over 6,000 emissary couples serving as the Jewish infrastructure across the globe. The conference includes workshops, farbrengens, and general sessions addressing the realities of Jewish life today. Highlights include the “class photo” at 770, the gala banquet at the New Jersey Conference and Expo Center on Sunday evening, and the collective visit to the Ohel on 22 Shevat, the yahrtzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.

Ahead of the conference, Kinus organizers met with law enforcement officials to review the weekend’s schedule and coordinate safety protocols. Enhanced security measures will be in place throughout the five-day gathering across all venues.

“The safety of the Shluchos is our top priority,” said Rabbi Mendel Kotlarsky, Coordinator of the International Conference of Shluchos. “We are grateful to the NYPD for their partnership and commitment to ensuring a secure environment throughout the conference.”

This year’s theme, כל ימי חייך להביא לימות המשיח, drawn from the Rebbe’s address at the Kinus Hashluchim in 5752, frames the gathering: every day, every setting, every role aligned toward one united vision.
