Philly Shliach to Headline Online Global Siyum Harambam

As the world faces complex challenges, Chabad.org invites the public to discover the Rambam’s 900-year-old prescription for optimism for humanity. This is the topic of a keynote lecture by Rabbi Boruch Shalom Davidson of Chabad of the Main Line, PA. It will take place at a virtual event streaming on Thursday, February 5 (18 Shevat) at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT, marking the conclusion of the 45th annual cycle of the daily study of Mishneh Torah.

Joining him is Chabad.org Rambam teacher Rabbi Raleigh Resnick, spiritual leader of Chabad of the Tri-Valley, CA, who will lead the ceremonial conclusion of the entire Mishneh Torah and immediately commence the new cycle, symbolizing the unbroken chain of Jewish scholarship.

In a special tribute, attendees will view an exclusive preview of “The Joshniks,” an upcoming documentary celebrating the enduring legacy of Rabbi Yehoshua B. Gordon. With his 10th yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing) approaching in ten days, the film highlights how his beloved classes on Chabad.org continue to educate and inspire tens of thousands of students daily.
