Thrilling Lineup of Trips Announced for This Year’s CKids Shabbaton
In just under two months, hundreds of kids from across the country will descend on Crown Heights for the CKids Shabbaton and JewQ Championship weekend. And while the championship takes center stage, it’s the lineup of high-energy trips that keeps kids excited year to year.
“The energy around the CKids Shabbaton is incredible, and the trips are a huge part of that,” says Rabbi Zalmy Lowenthal, Director of CKids International at Merkos 302. “When Jewish education and fun come together in this way, it creates a lasting impact.”
At Gaming City USA, kids dive into interactive challenges, racing against friends through immersive arcade games and competing for high scores. The energy is electric, and the fun doesn’t stop.
At Area 53, kids clip into harnesses and take on zip lines, ropes courses, and climbing obstacles that test balance and nerve. With friends cheering from below, every challenge becomes a shared victory.
iFLY Indoor Skydiving, has kids step into a powerful wind tunnel and lift off. Floating, spinning, and soaring through the air, they experience the rush of freefall without ever leaving the ground.
And there’s more to come! Additional trips and experiences will be announced in the weeks ahead.
The CKids Shabbaton and JewQ Championship takes place 2–4 Nissan (March 20–22), in Crown Heights. Registration is now open at shabbaton.ckids.org/register.
