Each major stage of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s life is highlighted through stories the Rebbe personally witnessed or heard directly from the Frierdiker Rebbe. The timeline begins with the chinuch the Frierdiker Rebbe received from his father, the Rebbe Rashab, in his earliest youth, and continues through his upbringing in Lubavitch, initiation into askanus at age fifteen, semicha and wedding, early nesius, his mesiras nefesh in Russia, and his later years in Latvia, Poland, and eventually the United States.
