Women’s Siyum Harambam to Debut Virtually Ahead of Historic Triple Siyum
As excitement builds for this year’s annual Siyum Harambam, organizers are preparing a milestone celebration, including the unique triple Siyum on Wednesday at the armory, marking the completion of Rambam’s learning cycle across three tracks. This year, for the first time, girls and women of Crown Heights are organizing a virtual women’s Siyum Harambam on Sunday, 14 Shevat.
The Rebbe strongly encouraged participation in the Siyum HaRambam and the celebration of completing a full cycle of fulfilling his bakasha nafshis. The Rebbe described Limmud HaRambam as something that unites all Yidden, noting that every Jew can participate on the track that suits them — Shlosha Perakim, Perek Echad, or Sefer HaMitzvos — in accordance with their time and capacity.
Last year, a group of women envisioned an event to highlight the place Sefer Hamitzvos and Rambam hold in their lives, and that vision is now coming to life.
In conjunction with N’Shei Chabad, Junior N’Shei, and Living Chassidus, and under the guidance of Rabbi Braun, these women have been working to bring the event to fruition. They aim to create a moment of celebration and inspiration, offering women and girls a chance to join, make learning a daily habit, and grow personally.
Organizers emphasized that the event welcomes women and girls at every level of learning, from beginners to those who study daily or complete Sefer HaMitzvos.
Speakers include mothers and educators who will present an overview of the takana and share what inspired their own growth in this area.
B’zchus Noshim Tzidkoiyos – may the merit of women gathering together for a worthy cause usher in the coming of Moshiach now!
The women’s Siyum Harambam will take place Sunday evening, 14 Shevat, Feb 1, at 8:00 PM over Zoom. Full details, including Zoom access information, will be provided soon.
To receive promotional materials and help spread the word, women are invited to join the Ambassadors WhatsApp group.
Please note: the virtual event does not replace the grand Siyum Harambam, which is open to men, women, and children and will take place on Wednesday at the Armory. Rather, it offers girls and women an additional opportunity to learn and celebrate on a more personal level.
