CTeen Announces Move to Nassau Coliseum for Historic February 22 Mega Event
The global Jewish teen movement has officially announced that its signature Sunday Mega Event will take place on February 22 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, marking the first time a Chabad organization will host a program in a major stadium.
The decision comes as a direct result of unprecedented growth. After years of expanding attendance, CTeen has outgrown its previous venues and is now opening the experience to the greater Jewish community, inviting families, supporters, and community members to take part in this milestone moment.
“This move reflects what we’re seeing across the board,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Chairman of CTeen International. “CTeen has grown because Jewish teens are looking for depth, identity, and community, and they’re showing up in numbers we simply haven’t seen before.”
The Nassau Coliseum, an iconic arena known for hosting major sporting events and concerts, will now serve as the backdrop for a gathering centered on Jewish pride, leadership, and purpose, led by teens participating from the world’s largest Jewish teen network’s almost 900 chapters.
For CTeen, the announcement marks a true milestone. What began as a modest initiative by the beloved Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky was inspired by the Rebbe’s belief in teens as changemakers and leaders. Rabbi Kotlarsky wasn’t afraid to make bold, visionary moves. hosted the Shabbaton meal for 40 teens in his small dining room and has since grown into the world’s largest Jewish teen network, engaging hundreds of thousands of teens across more than 60 countries.
Ticket sales will open this Tuesday at CTeen.con/livethelife.
