Parent and Staff Appreciation Evening Hosted at Cheder Chabad of Baltimore

On Wednesday evening, 4 Teves, Cheder Chabad of Baltimore hosted a Parent and Staff Appreciation Evening, celebrating the partnership that lies at the heart of the school’s success: devoted parents and dedicated educators working together for the chinuch of every child.

The Multi-Purpose Room was transformed into a warm and elegant space through the efforts of a parent committee that thoughtfully planned every detail. Parents and staff enjoyed a welcoming social hour with delicious food generously provided by The Knish Shop, setting the tone for an evening rooted in hakaras hatov and achdus.

Student displays throughout the room reflected the values Cheder Chabad instills daily. The boys presented creative exhibits centered on the Twelve Pesukim, the girls showcased thoughtful presentations on the Rebbe’s Ten Mivtzoim, and the Gan charmed attendees with a heartfelt video that captured the innocence and joy of early childhood.

The formal program opened with remarks from Rabbi Elchonon ChaikinCEO, who thanked the parents who spearheaded the evening, including Mrs. Sarena CohenMrs. Chana WolosowMrs. Feigie Cohen, and Mrs. Coty Jacobson. The program was enriched by musical accompaniment from Rabbi Mendel Schmuckler and soulful vocals by Rabbi Eli Solomon, both parents of Cheder Chabad students, adding warmth and inspiration throughout the night.

The night concluded with the screening of Cheder Chabad’s newest campaign video, powerfully illustrating the mission, growth, and ongoing needs of the school.

Moments like this evening highlight what makes Cheder Chabad special—but they also underscore what it takes to sustain it. The warmth, professionalism, and chinuch on display are only possible through the continued support of parents, alumni, and friends.
