Oholei Torah Launches Seventy Year Campaign Built on One Word – Tachlis

For seventy years, Oholei Torah has stood for more than inspiration. It has stood for action. Founded on strong chassidishe values and the Rebbe’s clear vision for chinuch al taharas hakodesh, Oholei Torah has always been about Tachlis: turning purpose into reality.

Tonight, as Oholei Torah turns 70, Oholei Torah proudly launches its annual fundraising campaign, centered on a single, powerful theme that has defined the moissed over its past seven decades: Tachlis.

Tachlis means moving from vision to execution. From Machshava Techila to Sof Maaseh. From ideals to impact. For seven decades, this approach has shaped generations of talmidim, instilling in them Ahavas Hashem, Ahavas HaTorah, and Ahavas Yisroel, and equipping them to live lives of meaning, responsibility, and action.

When challenges arise, financial, physical, or spiritual, Oholei Torah does not pause or lose focus. The question is always the same: What is the Tachlis right now? And then it gets done. That unwavering clarity has enabled the yeshiva to grow in both quality and scope, while remaining deeply rooted in its founding mission.

In numerous letters to Oholei Torah, the Rebbe emphasized the vital importance of supporting the moissed b’gasmius, ensuring they have the strength and stability to continue educating and uplifting future generations. This campaign is a direct continuation of that call.

While the yeshiva’s devoted staff focus year round on the talmidim, this campaign invites the broader community to take part in that sacred responsibility. For one focused week, friends and supporters are asked to help ensure that Oholei Torah can continue transforming vision into reality.

The goal is Tachlis: to raise $700K in 7 days, in honor of seventy years of purposeful chinuch. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in an exciting auction with an incredible variety of prizes.

This is more than a fundraiser. It is a statement. Seventy years ago, Oholei Torah chose Tachlis. Today, that commitment continues. And together, we ensure that the next decade will be defined by the same clarity, strength, and action.
