Oholei Torah Mothers Enjoy Mothers Mingle Hosted by OTMC

As part of a special week of celebrations marking Oholei Torah’s 70th birthday, the Oholei Torah Mothers Committee hosted an inspiring and uplifting Mothers Mingle. This gathering was event number two of seven planned programs taking place throughout the week, each designed to celebrate chinuch and engage different segments of the Oholei Torah community.

The evening opened with meaningful words from Menahel K’lali Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, who shared the Rebbe’s emphasis on chinuch al taharas hakodesh and its impact across generations. He also reflected on the history of Oholei Torah and its growth over seven decades, highlighting the strength of the institution and the vital role families and mothers have played in building and sustaining its mission.

Mrs. Aidy Bendet followed with an inspiring presentation on birthday minhagim through the Rebbe’s vision. She spoke about how birthdays can be elevated into moments of purpose, reflection, and renewed commitment, offering practical and meaningful insights that resonated deeply with the attendees.

A delicious buffet of fresh fruit, crepes, and refreshing drinks was enjoyed by all. Adding a warm and interactive element to the program, Mrs. Levana Kirschenbaum presented a live cooking demonstration. Women enjoyed tasting the dishes, creating an atmosphere of connection and enjoyment throughout the evening.

The event concluded with exciting raffles featuring birthday packages, including gift certificates to Kingston Pizza, Judaica World, and Zakons. The raffles added energy and joy, rounding out an evening that was both meaningful and celebratory.
