Fund Launched To Support The Emanuel Family

Doby Emanuel left this world on Wednesday, 11 Teves, just two weeks before his 31st birthday, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Doby was a pillar of Chicago’s Chabad community, a devoted husband and father to two young children, a 3-year-old son and a 7-month-old daughter.

Known for his infectious energy and unwavering dedication to his community and the Rebbe, Doby had a gift for making things happen. Whether organizing shiurim, launching community programs at Congregation Bnei Ruven, or quietly helping families in need, he showed up with both commitment and heart.

Now, with Doby no longer able to provide for his family, we’re raising $500,000 to secure their future.

Even during his illness, Doby’s determination never wavered. He would arrive at shul at 5:30 a.m. to daven before radiation treatments.

He made an offer on a house, discussed plans to grow his career, and planned a family vacation. Until the very end, Doby was building and dreaming.

Now his wife Chaya and their two young children face a future without him. Every dollar will help ensure that Chaya can focus on raising their children with stability and that the legacy Doby built can continue to support his family.
