Camp Emunah Traveling Shluchos Enter Its 30th Year
Camp Emunah’s traveling shluchos or better known as Cali-Emunah is getting ready for its 30th summer of its transformative program, continuing its mission to inspire and uplift girls through a powerful and immersive journey across the West Coast and beyond.
The trip each year begins in Seattle and winds its way through Oregon, Lake Tahoe, Northern California, Westlake, Mexico, and concluded in San Diego. Along the way, the group visits over 25 Chabad Shluchim, who warmly welcomed the girls into their homes and Chabad Houses. These dedicated Shluchim shared personal stories, insights, and the beauty of Shlichus, leaving a deep and lasting impression on the participants.
The program is not only spiritually enriching but also filled with exciting and adventurous activities. Highlights included white water rafting, zip lining, scenic hikes, sand duning, sandboarding, kayaking, sailing, and visits to numerous tourist attractions that showcased the natural beauty and diversity of each location.
Cali Emunah is more than just a trip—it’s an experience designed to educate, empower, and inspire young women by connecting them with real-life examples of dedication and purpose. The program was originally inspired by Rebbetzin Chava Hecht OBM, whose vision was to give girls the opportunity to connect to the Rebbe through the lens of Shlichus and the amazing Shluchim.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to the many Shluchim and their families who graciously opened their homes, provided nourishing meals, and shared their life experiences, over the last 29 years helping make this journey one of profound growth and inspiration.
The program was ran for 28 summers by Mrs. Goldie Gansburg.
This program is dedicated l’ilui nishmas Rabbi Shaya Gansbourg, ז”ל.
