Lubavitcher Yeshiva Opens Registration for New Mesivta
Tomchei Temimim is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the new Mesivta, both for local and out-of-town bochurim.
Located in the campus of Lubavitcher Yeshiva Ocean Parkway, just 30 minutes from Crown Heights, this Mesivta offers a unique and highly sought-after balance, close enough to Crown Heights, yet intentionally far enough to provide a distraction-free environment.
In addition to catering to the current Lubavitcher Yeshiva families, this Mesivta is a natural choice for out-of-towners as well, offering parents something many out-of-town Mesivtas cannot: Families naturally find themselves in Crown Heights several times a year for the Kinus Hashluchim, Kinus Hashluchos, family simchas, and other occasions. This provides parents with opportunities to visit their son, meet personally with the hanhala, and remain actively involved in their child’s chinuch.
The Mesivta follows the way Tomchei Temimim was originally established by the Rebbeim, with a clear focus on strong Chassidishkeit, refined Midos, Yiras Shamayim, and learning b’shkida u’b’hasmada.
This new Mesivta is being established under the guidance of the Menahel Moised, Rabbi Yosef Simpson.
Rabbi Shmuel Wagner, a respected mechanech and mashpia with years of experience, will lead as Rosh Mesivta. Besides overseeing the Mesivta’s curriculum, Rabbi Wagner will also be the Mashpia and Chassidus teacher.
Rabbi Mendel Scharf will serve as Menahel, bringing over fifteen years of Mesivta leadership experience.
Rabbi Meyer Rodal, a Maggid Shiur with more than a decade of experience working with Mesivta-age bochurim, will be teaching Niglah.
The Mesivta campus will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including a brand-new dormitory, a modern mikvah, a beautiful Beis Medrash, spacious classrooms, and both indoor and outdoor areas designed for the well-being of the talmidim.
Each application will be carefully reviewed by the hanhala, with consideration given not only to academics, but also to Chassidishkeit, Yiras Shomayim, maturity, behavior, and overall readiness for a full Mesivta environment.
