Fighting Darkness with Light

This morning, the world awoke to the devastating news of a terrorist attack at a Chanukah celebration—an attack carried out at a moment meant to spread light. As Chassidim, we look to the Rebbe’s guidance in times like these: not to dwell on the darkness, but to respond by increasing light.

At this critical time, we urge everyone to strengthen the light of Chanukah in whatever way possible.

As previously announced, Crown Heights families have the opportunity to join a Car Menorah Parade on any night of Chanukah that works best for their schedule.

“We’ve been renting out Car Menorahs throughout the past week and have reached a record number of requests,” says Rabbi Yoel Vogel, organizer of the Car Menorah Parades. “A limited number of Car Menorahs are still available and will be loaned to participants who register for an upcoming parade.”

We encourage everyone to sign up as soon as possible while Menorahs are still available.
