Hundreds Gather in Tzfas for the Central Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen
Hundreds of residents of Tzfas and the surrounding areas gathered for a deeply uplifting and inspiring central Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen, marking the “Rosh Hashanah of Chassidus” and the liberation of the Alter Rebbe. The event was hosted in the historic “Red Khan” hall and organized by Agudas Kiryas Chabad of Tzfas, led by Shliach Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, together with Rabbi Nachum Friedman.
Among the distinguished participants were community rabbonim and public figures, including Rabbi Mordechai Bistritzky, community Rov; Dayan Rabbi Chaim Bezak, Av Beis Din; Mayor R’ Yossi Kakon; Breslov Rov Rabbi Ephraim Kenig; Sanz Rov Rabbi Dovid Ze’ev Reich; Mavo’ot HaChermon Rov Rabbi Yisrael Roshczki; Tolna Rov Rabbi Yechezkel Shimon; the son of the Shotz Rebbe, Mashpia Rabbi Nechemia Moskowitz; Shliach Rabbi Alter Eliyahu Friedman; Chabad representative to the municipality and director of Kollel Chabad Rabbi Yoram Mauda; Shliach to Merom Kna’an Rabbi Chaim Zilber; Rosh Yeshiva of Oholei Menachem Mendel Rabbi Shmuel Mishulovin; along with many additional guests.
The evening carried a strong sense of unity and chassidishe inspiration, as the speakers highlighted the significance of the day—strengthening the study of Chassidus and deepening the hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
Following the formal program, the crowd sat down for an extended chassidishe Farbrengen that continued late into the night with HaGaon HaChossid Rabbi Menachem Mendel Farkash, one of the leading rabbonim of the new “Beis Menachem Mendel Lubavitch” Yeshivah Gedolah in Tzfas. The Farbrengen was filled with heartfelt singing, words of inspiration, and renewed commitments befitting the auspicious day.
