
Thousands at Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen in Boro Park
BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn [CHI] – Thousands of residents from Boro Park and nearby neighborhoods took part in a special Farbrengen and Melava Malka in honor of Yud Tes Kislev, the Farbrengen was arranged by Heichal Menachem directed by Rabbi Leibel Altein.

The Farbrengen opened up with the song ‘Padah Besholom’ by a choir of Anash from Crown Heights, who graced the Farbrengen with more Niggunim throughout.
During the Farbrengen, which was attended by residents from Crown Heights, Rabonim and Mashipiim spoke and enthralled the crowd which packed around the tables. The emcee of the Farbrengen was Rabbi Zev Katz, Gabbi in 770.
Among those who spoke was Rab Yoel Kahan, Choizer and Mashpiah in the Central Tomchei Temimim, Rabbi Yosef Wineberg, compiler of the set of Seforim ‘Shiurim Besefer Hatanya’ and Rabbi Moshe Walberg from Yeshivas Chabad in Manchester.
Also in attendance was the Rebbes Mazkirim, Rabbi Leibel Groner, Rabbi Binyomin Klein and Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky.
In addition Rabbi Yosef Avrohom Heler, a member of the Crown Heights Beis Din and Rosh Hakolol, Rabbi Naftali Rot, director of the center for Chasidic education in Jerusalem, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice chairman of Merkos Leinyonei Chinuch and Reb Eron Ostfeld of Toronto, Canada who donates lots to Heichal Menachem.
At the entrance to the hall table with Seforim for sale were set up and those that manned the tables reported significant amounts of sales.
