New Moshiach App Launches at Kinus Hashluchim

The Alef started as a simple weekly email and has grown into a worldwide phenomenon, and now, it’s stepping into an entirely new chapter.

Over the past few years, The Alef Weekly has reached thousands of subscribers across the globe with structured, relatable, and consistent learning on the topic of Moshiach. Each week, individuals, from Shluchim to educators to parents, open their inboxes to find a beautifully designed, one-page lesson exploring the depth and practicality of Moshiach and Geulah, turning a lofty idea into something tangible and personal.

Now, that experience is expanding far beyond the inbox: With The Alef App: 70+ Moshiach Topics at Your Fingertips

Unveiled at the Kinus Hashluchim Ha’olami 5786, the new Alef App is now available on the App Store and Google Play.

The launch took place during the Thursday night session of the Kinus, where Rabbi Berel Lazar publicly unveiled the app and urged everyone to download it. He highlighted that when people today ask what’s going on in the world, with all the confusion and “craziness”, this app provides clear, Torah-based answers on a wide range of Moshiach topics.

The Rebbe’s directive in Chayei Sarah 5752, as referenced in numerous talks, emphasized that learning about Moshiach must become the focal point of Shlichus.

“Over the past two years, Shluchim have been telling us, the conversation around Moshiach is intensifying in their communities,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, director of the International Conference of Shluchim and Chairman of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302. “We hope that the app gives people a clear framework to understand, explore, and act on the Rebbe’s vision.”

According to Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, Director of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302, the Alef App directly addresses a longstanding challenge:

“One major factor has been the lack of a one-stop shop for the uninitiated to find clear and simple ideas about Moshiach. This app, with its rich content library, solves that beautifully.”

The app features 70+ elegant, practical lessons, all built with The Alef’s signature clarity and depth. Each one explores the Rebbe’s vision of Moshiach and Geulah through Chassidus, Halacha, and Tanach, and concludes with real-life applications, helping turn learning into actual living.

Throughout the Kinus weekend, a booth at the Mosdos Fair on the Women’s Plaza at 770 invited participants to pick up a printed copy of The Alef to learn Inyonei Geulah u’Moshiach with someone in their community.

A soft launch took place during Pegisha weekend, where students downloaded the app, and the feedback has been notably positive.

“The Alef was created to help every Jew bring Moshiach learning into daily life,” says Rabbi Levik Gourarie, co-founder of The Alef series. “With this new app, the Rebbe’s vision, to live with Geulah becomes more accessible than ever.”

Whether learning with a friend, hosting a lunch-and-learn, or sharing a quick thought with family, the app makes Moshiach learning short, accessible, and impactful.

With 70+ curated topics, and more being added, the Alef App brings a broad world of Moshiach learning into your pocket.
