Modern Kitchen Opens at Or Avner Jewish School in Tbilisi
A new state-of-the-art kitchen was recently inaugurated at the FJC ‘Or Avner’ Jewish School in Tbilisi, Georgia, under the leadership of Chabad emissaries and community leaders Rabbi Meir and Tzippi Kozlovsky. The project was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Yael Foundation and the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ), whose contributions are helping enhance the daily experience of students at the school.
The festive opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Fellowship, the Federation of Jewish Communities (FJC), the school’s founder and principal, as well as teachers and students, all gathered to celebrate the occasion.
Rabbi Kozlovsky expressed his appreciation, stating, “Our heartfelt thanks to the Fellowship and the Yael Foundation for their generous support, which made it possible to complete the first stage of the kitchen and student meal project. With G-d’s help and the support of additional partners, the project will continue to expand — ensuring a warm, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for our students.”
The kitchen project is part of a broader effort to support Jewish education and welfare in Georgia, providing students with nutritious meals and a welcoming atmosphere conducive to growth and learning.
