Tenathon 2025: A Celebration of Music, Marriage, and Legacy

On Sunday, November 2, 2025, as the towering ceilings of the Brooklyn Armory awaken to sound and light, a familiar event will step into unfamiliar territory. Ten Yad’s annual Tenathon, a cherished tradition of music and giving, is reimagining itself with its boldest production yet. The theme, A New Stage, is not just a title. It’s a statement of scale.

For the Ten Yad Tenathon committee, the decision to move the event to the Brooklyn Armory and produce a world-class concert experience was more than logistical. “We felt it was time to step into something bigger,” said a member of the planning committee. “Every kallah who walks to her chuppah is stepping onto her own new stage. This year’s Tenathon reflects that moment of transformation. It’s about hope, beauty, and building a Jewish future together.”

The decision was also born from a desire to welcome more people into the experience. In past years, the Tenathon was limited to only a few hundred attendees. Now, the new venue allows for 1,800 people to be part of the night in person. “It’s an event too beautiful to be experienced by so few,” another committee member explained. “We wanted to open the doors wider and let more people feel the joy for themselves.”

The lineup itself reads like a roll call of Jewish music royalty. Mordechai Ben David and Avraham Fried, two voices that have defined the Jewish musical landscape for half a century, will share a stage in a moment that feels less like a performance and more like the meeting of legends. Their voices, both iconic and enduring, are the soundtrack to countless weddings, simchas, and prayers around the world. To hear them together, live, is an experience to behold.

They will be joined by Elitzur, whose hit Od Yoter Tov has quietly woven itself into the fabric of Jewish homes across the globe, Shmuel Sukkot, Israel’s breakout star whose voice dominated airwaves and awards stages this year, and Zusha, whose unmistakable sound adds a deeply soulful dimension to the night. Their presence alongside these giants signals something rare: a tapestry of past and future, old and new, meeting in one electric moment.

A special band from Israel, arranged by the renowned Yuval Stupel, will form the heartbeat of the evening, layering the night with a distinctly Israeli sound that is textured, emotional, and alive.

For many, the Tenathon is far more than a concert. “It’s a celebration of marriage, of building Jewish homes,” said one longtime attendee. “In a world where the value of family has been eroded, this event reminds us what stands at the center of our community. There’s a sense of unity in that room that’s hard to describe. Everyone is rallying around the bedrock of our future. It’s deeply uplifting.”

And then there are the whispers of what’s not yet announced. Surprise guests. A tribute. A moment of quiet emotion designed to linger after the music stills. These details are guarded closely, but those in the room will witness them firsthand.

The curtain is about to rise. There are just 48 hours left to double your luck and claim a seat at this extraordinary night. Don’t let it live only in the retelling. Be there when history sings.
