Two Bodies Returned By Hamas Identified

One of the hostage bodies returned tonight has been identified as Ronen Engel HY”D, 54, from Kibutz Nir Oz, who was abducted to Gaza on October 7 and brutally murdered in Hamas captivity.

Ronen left behind a wife and 3 children. He served as an emergency medic and Magen David Adom volunteer in the Negev region.

The second body has been identified as Thai national Sonthaya Oakkharasr following his identification by forensic experts.
