An Unforgettable Shabbat at Chabad Israeli of Orange County
Researcher Eliyahu Yossian was hosted at Chabad Israeli of Orange County, under the leadership of Rabbi Rafi Dadon, with a lecture on Iran and the Middle East.
This past weekend, the Chabad Israeli community of Orange County, California, under the leadership of Rabbi Rafi Dadon, experienced a special and uplifting Shabbat as renowned commentator and lecturer Eliyahu Yossian, a leading researcher of Iran and the Middle East, joined the community for a full Shabbat program.
The Shabbat opened on Friday evening with a festive communal dinner attended by many members of the community. On Shabbat morning, Yossian joined the prayers and the communal meal, where he shared his insights in an intimate and warm setting. The highlight came on Saturday night with a fascinating lecture on the situation in Iran, developments in the Middle East, and their implications for Israel and the Jewish world.
Yossian, known for his sharp geopolitical analyses, presented the audience with an updated and in-depth overview, focusing on the consequences for Israel’s security and Jewish life worldwide.
Rabbi Rafi Dadon concluded: “This Shabbat strengthened our community’s sense of unity and mission. It was moving to see how deep and meaningful content connected so beautifully with the warm and family-like atmosphere of Shabbat. We are grateful for the opportunity to host Eliyahu Yossian and to provide our community with an experience that will be remembered for a long time.”
