Friends Gather at Yankee Stadium to Benefit the Released Time Program

In an uplifting and spirited evening high above the field at Yankee Stadium, friends and supporters of Released Time gathered in a luxury suite for a special event benefiting the furtherance of Jewish education

With both adults and children in attendance, the gathering celebrated a year of growth, and commitment to ensuring Jewish children in public schools receive a meaningful Jewish education.

The suite, buzzing with energy, overlooked the ballpark as guests enjoyed a full kosher buffet dinner and bar, vibrant conversation, and a shared sense of purpose. The event marked a renewed effort to support Jewish identity and education for students in public schools.

This past year alone, 61 Released Time students made the transition from public schools to Yeshivos, a testament to the tireless efforts of the Released Time Program and its supporters. With the new public school year around the corner, the program is poised for another impactful season, reaching even more Jewish students and offering them a chance to connect with their heritage.

Special thanks were extended to the evening’s generous sponsors: Method General Contractors, AI Auto, Core, Benji Bros, Prime Brands Group, and The Hecht team.

“We are deeply appreciative to our sponsors and supporters for partnering with us in this vital cause” says Rabbi Yanky Hecht, Released Time director and event coordinator “Every Jewish child deserves a meaningful Jewish education and it’s up to our efforts to make that a reality.”

The stadium buzzed with energy as the Yankees delivered a thrilling win, adding to the excitement of the evening. It was the perfect blend of fun and purpose. “There’s no greater purpose in my life than helping young kids get a Jewish education,” shared one sponsor, capturing the heartfelt spirit that defined the night.

The Jewish Released Time Program is the flagship initiative of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE), continuing to make a lasting impact on Jewish children across New York City.
