Arson Attempt Causes Damage To Shul In Russia

In the City of Obninsk in the Kaluga region of Russia, located approximately 100 kilometers southwest of Moscow, an arson attempt last night damaged a local Shul.

According to an initial investigation, at least three bottles of flammable liquid were thrown into the synagogue building. Damage was caused to the main entrance of the building.

In a similar attempt about a year ago, two minors were arrested for setting fire to this synagogue, causing the electrical panel to burn.
