Program is Released for Record Breaking 25th Annual Kinus HaMechanchim

With record-breaking registration and a milestone year marking 25 years of impact, Merkos’s Chinuch Office has released the final schedule for next week’s Kinus Hamechanchim. Hundreds of mechanchim, from preschool to mesivta, teachers, principals, and school leaders, will gather for two days of immersive growth, collaboration, and inspiration.

The Kinus, taking place Wednesday and Thursday, August 13–14, features over 40 sessions, roundtables, and panels, carefully curated for educators at every stage and role. Tracks include Primary, Upper Elementary, Mesivta/Zal, Base Commanders, Leadership/Admin, and General sessions, each addressing the real challenges and opportunities in today’s chinuch landscape.

Topics range from effective lesson planning, classroom emotional regulation, Halacha questions, and AI in the classroom, to school systems, financial best practices, and empowering leadership.

Notable highlights include:

In addition to workshops, Mechanchim will be able to book one-on-one consultations in areas such as Halacha (Rabbi Mordechai Farkash), mental health (Rabbi Yaacov Danishefsky), finances (Mr. Yair Klyman), and EOS/leadership systems (Rabbi Mendel Shemtov).

This year’s theme, ״ברוח ישראל סבא״ “Focused Chinuch; Guided By Our Roots”, is focused on helping Mechanchim gain clarity and a renewed chayus in Chinuch. It’s an opportunity to uplift their shlichus with the foundational, timeless values of our Rebbeim. The sessions will be practical and hands-on, focused on the growth of the mechanech, and offering a toolbox of approaches to reach talmidim – emotionally and academically all rooted in the Rebbeim’s approach and the essence of true Chassidishe Chinuch.

Next week, the inspiration begins. The future of chinuch is being shaped, one session, one teacher, and one talmid at a time.
