Campus Shluchos Kinus Energizes, Connects and Uplifts
Close to 150 Shluchos who serve on college and university campuses around the world gathered for the annual Chabad on Campus International Kinus HaShluchos, a three-day experience of connection, inspiration, and empowerment. The Kinus combined personal reflection, collaborative learning, and practical tools for Shlichus.
“Chabad on Campus International is privileged to support this remarkable group of Chassidim, devoted Shluchos of the Rebbe, committed to his vision for Jewish life on campus,” said Rabbi Yossy Gordon, Chief Executive Officer of Chabad on Campus International. “With Hashem’s help, the strength and clarity they’ve gained over these days will carry forward into their shlichus, enriching the lives of countless students around the world.”
The Kinus began Monday morning at the Rebbe’s Ohel, where Shluchos had the opportunity for personal reflection and connection. A meaningful opening session set the tone for the days ahead, followed by going into the Ohel and reading a Pan Kloli on behalf of all the Shluchos.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the atmosphere shifted into high gear with a welcome program, engaging workshops, and the beloved “Ladies Night” program that fostered creative expression and camaraderie among Shluchos.
Tuesday offered a powerful blend of Torah learning, personal development, and shared best practices. Sessions ranged from learning sichos and reflections on family life in Shlichus to idea-sharing presentations by Shluchos showcasing innovative campus programming. The day concluded with a heartfelt farbrengen exploring Emunah, Bitochon, and Hishtadlus, with Mrs. Rivka Slonim & Mrs. Sarah Morosow, followed by peer-led “Sister to Sister” farbrengens tailored to different stages of life and Shlichus.
On Wednesday, the Kinus wrapped up with purposeful morning learning, a live “Shluchos Unfiltered” podcast, and a celebratory closing banquet. The banquet included keynote addresses by Mrs. Raizy Rubin and Esther Miriam Rubin of the University at Albany, and musical entertainment by Chayala Neuhaus, who composed a special song in honor of the Shluchos. The joy and energy in the room reflected the renewed strength that Shluchos would bring back with them to their campuses.
“This Kinus is about giving our Shluchos the space to be nurtured and uplifted, so they can go back to their campuses and keep transforming lives,” said Rabbi Avi Weinstein, Chief Operating Officer of Chabad on Campus International. “We’re deeply grateful for this opportunity to support these Shluchos so they can go back to campus strengthened to engage their cherished students.”
As Shluchos boarded buses home, they took with them a renewed sense of purpose, practical ideas and the unshakable strength of their sisterhood.
One Shlucha shared, “We are so lucky to be part of this very special family. I’m so full of gratitude for the Kinus. It felt like a big family reunion!”
Another added, “It was an absolutely beautiful Kinus on every level! Every single detail was thought of… It is truly a gift to be able to have this!”
