Rabbi Levi Jacobson to Teach Hilchos Bais Habechirah Online
In keeping with the Rebbe’s call to study the Beis Hamikdash during the Three Weeks—a time of reflection on the Temple’s destruction and renewal—Chabad.org proudly presents a transformative new course: “Inside G-d’s Home: The Holy Temple.”
Beginning Tuesday, 4 Menachem-Av / July 29, 2025, this immersive experience reveals how the Temple was far more than an ancient structure—it was a living guide to encountering the Divine.
The course is delivered by Rabbi Levi Jacobson, founder and director of JRCC West Thornhill, where he leads classes, lectures, and community programs. He received rabbinic ordination in 1996 after completing the entire Talmud by age 19 and has a keen interest in the study of the Holy Temple and especially enjoys sharing its deeper meaning and relevance.
As Hashem communicated to Yechezkel, studying the Temple’s design is not merely an act of remembrance, but a path to actually rebuilding it. This course decodes its sacred architecture, rituals, and enduring lessons, offering a step-by-step roadmap to infuse daily life with holiness.
Course Highlights:
Lesson 1: Why We Still Whisper into the Cracks (July 29, 2025) – Discover why millions are drawn to sacred spaces like the Western Wall and how the Temple’s magnetic pull can deepen your own spiritual journey.
Lesson 2: The Architecture of Awe (August 5, 2025) – Explore how every measurement and gateway was designed to elevate the soul—and how to apply these principles to your life.
Lesson 3: Making Space for Miracles (August 12, 2025) – Uncover the Temple’s daily wonders and learn to recognize the extraordinary within the ordinary.
Lesson 4: What the Temple Built in You (August 19, 2025) – Awaken the inner blueprint of the Temple within your soul, aligning your actions with its sacred purpose.
