Historic Tanya Printing Initiative Brings Chassidus to 18 New Iowa Locations

In an unprecedented project highlighting the Rebbe’s directive to spread the wellsprings of Chassidus to every corner of the globe, Tanya was printed in 18 cities across the state of Iowa—all places where a Tanya had never been printed before.

The initiative was a joint effort by the talmidim hashluchim of the Postville Yeshiva and the dedicated Shluchim serving communities throughout Iowa.

In preparation, the talmidim hashluchim conducted in-depth learning sessions with the buchrim of the Postville Yeshiva about the Rebbe’s vision for disseminating the Sefer HaTanya—the foundational text of Chabad Chassidus—and its profound impact in drawing every Jew closer to Hashem.

Each Shiur of the Yeshiva had the opportunity to actively participate by traveling together with the Shluchim to personally oversee and celebrate the printing of the Tanya in these new locations.

This monumental project not only fulfills the Rebbe’s call to bring Chassidus to every place but also served as a powerful hands-on educational experience for the bochurim, inspiring them with a sense of mission and connection to Yidden across Iowa.
