In Preparation for Gimmel Tammuz: TTOP’s Musical Video “To Lubavitch”

As Gimmel Tammuz approaches, TTOP is proud to share a moving musical production that captures the deep yearning of a Chossid to see the Rebbe—something we all feel today.

The story takes place a few hundred years ago, when it wasn’t easy to be a Chossid. In this clip, a young boy wants to go to Lubavitch to see the Rebbe—but his father, a strong Misnaged, won’t let him. The boy has to make a tough choice: follow his father’s ways, or follow what his neshama is pulling him toward.

The song is based on ניגון רס”ד from Sefer Haniggunim, and was performed by our very own Tzivos Hashem Boys Choir.

Special thanks to our Tzivos Hashem Choir boys: Doobie Krinsky, Levi Kornblit, Refoel Pekar, Manny Kramer, Zev Chein, and Menachem Pekar. As well as the boys who joined the video: Immanuel Lewis, Koby Kops, Levi Ezagui, Itchel Apfelbaum, and Mendy Lieblach.

With thanks to:

• Rabbi Menachem Lifshitz, Rabbi Yoni Sarue, and Rabbi Avrohom Gorman for their continuous support and guidance

• Lev Akselrod, for professional guidance in vocal training and video recording

• Srully Jacobs, videographer

• Rabbi Yitzchok Achter, for leading and arranging the choir and video project
