New Workshop to Equip Emerging Shluchim With Tools to Build a Sustainable Mosad

The hands-on workshop dubbed From Surviving to Thriving: EOS, is designed for Shluchim who are looking to bring more structure, focus, and long-term vision to their Shlichus. Created especially for those in the early years of building their mosad, this one-day session offers practical tools and valuable insights to help Shluchim move from the day-to-day grind to purposeful, sustainable growth with clarity and confidence at every step.

On Monday, June 16, there will be a virtual “open house” webinar for all who are interested in learning what EOS is and how it can help every Shliach, whether they’re just starting out or looking to bring more structure to a growing operation. The free webinar will offer a clear introduction to the EOS model and share examples of how it’s already transforming the way Shluchim lead their mosdos.

“The Rebbe entrusted us with a mission to reach every Jew, and that can feel overwhelming at times, especially for newer Shluchim who might be asking themselves, ‘how do I get from where I am now to the full potential of my Shlichus?’” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302. “We hope implementing EOS will help provide the clarity, structure, and tools needed to fulfill that mission with confidence and focus.”

The program uses the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a proven framework already harnessed by many Chabad Houses to streamline operations, strengthen teamwork, and create lasting impact. EOS helps leaders shift from putting out fires to building intentional, focused organizations, defining roles, simplifying decision-making, and aligning around shared goals.

“The Rebbe spoke on the 28th of Nissan about Oros Detohu and Keilim Ditikun. I believe that EOS is the best way to do that, it gave us the ability to continue to have Tohu aspirations, and create a system of Tikun to implement them practically”, shared Mendy Teldon, Chabad Mid Suffolk, NY. “EOS has been a game changer for our Shlichus. It makes it possible to truly work towards the goal of reaching every Jew in our corner of the world, through building efficiency and systems and charting a clear path forward to build the team with confidence at a pace we could handle without getting burned out.”

The workshop will be led by Rabbi Mendel Shemtov, a professional EOS Implementer who has worked closely with Shluchim and mosdos worldwide. With a background in business strategy and a deep understanding of the realities of Shlichus, Rabbi Shemtov brings a grounded and highly practical approach.

“Most Shluchim have a powerful vision, but without the right structure, they end up doing everything themselves, and it’s simply not sustainable,” says Rabbi Shemtov. “EOS isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. It gives Shluchim a clear, practical system to delegate, prioritize, and lead with focus. When you implement EOS, you can take your Shlichus to the next level with measurable progress and clarity.”

Participants will walk away with a clear 90-day action plan, well-defined team responsibilities, and a compelling 3 and 10-year vision that can be shared with teams and donors to communicate the next stage of growth. The offering also includes four live follow-up labs and a dedicated WhatsApp group for ongoing support.

The workshop will take place on Monday, 4 Tammuz (June 30) in Crown Heights, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Registration is $549, with a discounted early bird rate of $499 available until 21 Sivan.
