Video: Shluchim Mark Rabbi Kotlarsky’s Birthday with Mitzvah Campaign
Today, Rosh Chodesh Sivan, marks the birthday of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, the beloved friend to Shluchim around the world, who passed away last year just days before his birthday. Shluchim and Friends across the globe are commemorating the day through the project he so passionately spearheaded: OneMitzvah.
In his official capacity, Rabbi Kotlarsky fulfilled countless Shlichusin entrusted to him by the Rebbe, amongst them overseeing and expanding Merkos Shlichus, establishing new Chabad centers, leading the Kinus Hashluchim, and driving the global growth of Chabad. But beyond his titles and responsibilities, he was known as the closest friend to Shluchim everywhere. He never said no. He made sure their needs were taken care of. They knew his phone was always on, day or night.
In honor of his birthday, Shluchim and friends worldwide have launched a OneMitzvah campaign, the final initiative Rabbi Kotlarsky personally spearheaded. Rooted in the Rebbe’s constant call to view each Mitzvah as the one that can bring Moshiach, Merkos 302’s OneMitzvah platform allows anyone to launch a mitzvah campaign for a birthday, yartzeit, or any meaningful occasion.
Since its inception, nearly 2 million mitzvos and over 1,000 campaigns have already been launched.Mark Rabbi Kotlarsky’s birthday by creating a OneMitzvah campaign or doing a mitzvah in his merit: onemitzvah.org/rmk

An Admirer
As I child I was very touched by Reb Moshe זצ״ל, in many many ways.
I know I am only one of countless women and children that he touched and impacted so deeply and intensely.
It is my sincere hope that his son Reb Mendy carries on his illustrious legacy
