Mazal Tov! New Met@Chabad Engagement!
A new engagement through Met@Chabad is bringing together two Jewish professionals from Houston, TX, and Charlotte, NC, highlighting the growing number of cross-community shidduchim facilitated by local Shluchim and Met@Chabad.
Justin and Deanna, young Jewish professionals from Houston, TX, and Charlotte, NC, are engaged after being introduced through CYP’s Met@Chabad platform, with the guidance of their respective Shluchim.
Rabbi Chaim and Chanie Lazaroff (Houston) and Rabbi Motti and Chaya Groner (Charlotte) played a key role in supporting the couple throughout the process. Their collaboration reflects a growing trend of cross-community matches facilitated by local Shluchim and Met@Chabad.
Inspired by the Rebbe’s vision for meaningful, values-driven marriages, Met@Chabad—the global dating initiative from Chabad Young Professionals at Merkos 302—combines an AI-powered, values-centric algorithm with the wisdom of trained shadchanim and Shluchim, in-person events, and Torah-based education and mentorship. Together, these tools have matched tens of thousands of young Jewish professionals at Chabad centers worldwide.
For today’s young Jewish professional, it offers clarity, shared values, and trusted guidance in a dating landscape often filled with noise and uncertainty.
Mazal tov to Justin and Deanna on their engagement. May they build an eternal Jewish home filled with warmth and purpose.
Shluchim who have community members that could benefit from Met@Chabad can join at metatchabad.com/shluchimsignup.
