Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester visits the Rebbe’s Brother’s house in Liverpool
In a meaningful tribute on Yud Gimmel Iyar, the bochurim of Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester embarked on a journey to Liverpool, where they visited the former residence of the Rebbe’s brother, R’ Yisroel Aryeh Leib Schneerson. This visit served as a poignant connection to a remarkable individual known for his sharp intellect and profound Torah scholarship, offering the young students a tangible link to the rich history of Chabad.
R’ Yisroel Aryeh Leib, a figure greatly cherished by the Frierdiker Rebbe, lived in Liverpool during his last year while immersed in his academic pursuits in theoretical physics. The bochurim had the opportunity to reflect upon his life and legacy within the very walls he once occupied, gaining a deeper appreciation for his unique place within the Schneerson family and his dedication to both Torah and secular wisdom.
Following this inspiring visit, the bochurim gathered for a spirited Farbrengen in the warm and engaging atmosphere of the Liverpool Chabad House. The Farbrengen was led by the esteemed Shliach of Liverpool, R’ Avrohom Kievman, who shared insightful stories and Chassidic teachings.
