France Marches Towards Light

On Thursday, the 10th of Iyar (May 8), a moving ceremony took place in Aubervilliers – France, marking Victory Day in Europe, commemorating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II — a day symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness in Europe.

The event was held in the presence of city officials, government representatives, and members of the French army and police, in full collaboration with Mosdos Shnei-Or Institutions of Aubervilliers, led by the Shliach Rabbi Shmulik Tewel. The wonderful children of Shnei-Or took an active part in the ceremony, marching with the Tzivos Hashem youth band under the leadership of Rabbi Shmulik himself.

In addition to the parade, the children impressed the audience as they confidently recited the 12 Pesukim (verses) and sang “Ha’adet Ve’emunah”, the French national anthem revised in Kedusha, filling the air with true Jewish pride and joyful spirit.

At the conclusion of the march, Rebbetzin Chaya Nisilevitch , Shlucha of Aubervilliers and Head of the Mosdos Shnei-Or institutions delivered a moving speech on the importance of spreading light in the world through acts of goodness and kindness, She especially emphasized the Seven Noahide Laws — as a universal moral foundation for all humanity — as a key path in preparing the world for the complete and true Redemption through our righteous Moshiach.
