Lubavitch Hebrew Academy of Margate, FL announced the hiring of a new General Studies Principal for the upcoming school year, naming the member of the administration as Rabbi Yisroel Hecht.
“B”H after a thorough search process we are delighted to announce our next General Studies Principal,” the school announced in an email to parents. “The Search Committee sifted through 35 applicants, followed by 2 rounds of interviews and finally a site visit to arrive at the best candidate for LHA!”
Rabbi Hecht is well-known from his five years of leadership at Mizrahi Torah Academy (MTA) in Plantation, FL, with the success built on his 15+ years of experience in various roles of chinuch and administration.
Rabbi Hecht’s primary goal is to bring Lubavitch Hebrew Academy’s General Studies program to its next level of excellence.
“A graduate of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim and Touro College, Rabbi Hecht approaches every interaction with professionalism and a sense of purpose,” the school wrote. “His energetic personality fosters an upbeat learning environment balanced with healthy child development practices and individual growth. A core strength at LHA is its Senior Leadership Team, and this addition will bring even more energy and rigor to our school.”
