BDE: Pini Hazan, 42, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Pini Hazan OBM, the son of the Rabbe’s Shluchim in Rome, Italy. He passed away on Wednesday, the 9th of Iyar, 5785 following an extended illness.

He was 42 years old.

Pini, the son of the Rabbe’s Shluchim in Rome, Italy, Rabbi Yitzchak and Sara Hazan שיחיו, was a dedicated and beloved member of The Shluchim Office team for close to two decades and served the family of Shluchim around the world with heart, humility, and unwavering dedication.

He is survived by his parents, Rabbi Yitzchok and Sarah Hazan of Rome, Italy, and his siblings; Chani Benjaminson (Providence, RI), Sholom Ber Hazan (Rome, Italy), Shmulik Hazan (Miami, FL), Etti Hazan (Crown Heights), Motti Hazan (Crown Heights), Rivky Hazan (Crown Heights), Zalmi Hazan (Miami, FL), Mushky Lipshitz (Crown Heights), and Batya Miller (Miami, FL).
