At the 28 Nissan Mega Farbrengen, “Moshiach in Me,” attended by upward of 12,000, Crown Heights businessman Mr. Danny Branover shared a remarkable story: As a young boy, he stood before the Rebbe in yechidus and asked the question burning in every Jewish heart — “When is Moshiach coming?”
Quoting a sefer that cites the “end date” recorded by Reb Chaim Vital, young Danny asked the Rebbe if Moshiach indeed would be coming in a few months.
The Rebbe made it clear: Moshiach isn’t waiting on a date. He’s waiting on you.

Produced by the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302, the program was dedicated in loving memory of its chairman, Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Kotlarsky ע”ה. His lifelong dedication to fulfilling the Rebbe’s call underscored the theme of the evening.
Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302, opened the program with a personal reflection on his father’s lifelong dedication to the Rebbe’s mission, urging viewers to break through the final barriers of Golus by uncovering the spark of Moshiach within. “The Rebbe promised this would be the last generation of Golus — and the first of Geulah,” he reminded the crowd. “Now it’s up to us to tip the scale.”
The night crescendoed with a live farbrengen led by Rabbi Yosef Katzman, leaving thousands uplifted and energized. Rabbi Yosef Wilhelm, of Chabad Young Professionals on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, explored Moshiach not as a distant dream, but as the core of life’s purpose. Rabbi Yisroel Deren, Head Shliach of Connecticut, explored what it means to live with a Moshiach mindset—a reality to embody.
