Bochurim Debut Inspiring Short Film
In an incredible show of talent and determination, the staff of Camp Ohr Menachem pulled off what seemed nearly impossible: in just a couple of days, they wrote, directed, and shot an original short film—Connected Through Song. The film tells a moving story of a Sephardic family navigating the hardships of the Holocaust, blending emotion, resilience, and the power of music.
With no budget and only days left in camp, the team transformed the streets of Cote St. Luc into a living film set. They brought in a professional film crew, built props from scratch, improvised costumes, and shot scene after scene with resourcefulness and passion. After months of careful editing, the final product is ready—and it’s nothing short of remarkable.
Connected Through Song is a heartfelt, raw, and surprisingly polished film that has already left its first audience laughing, crying, and profoundly touched.
The film is now available to stream on YouTube—free for all to watch.
