A Plea From Morah Tiechtel

Dearest Bais Rivkah Alumnae,

I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for each of you reflecting on the amazing years I had the privilege to spend with my beloved students of Bais Rivkah. Together, we learned, we laughed, we faced challenges, and we lifted each other up. We built something unshakable—a surrounding rooted in Torah, Yiddishkeit, and the Rebbe’s shlichus, bound by the unwavering support we gave one another.

As our community grows, we face a pivotal moment. On one hand we have completely maxed out the space for classes across all departments in Bais Rivkah. On the other hand, we have a unique opportunity to expand our campus, ensuring that future generations receive the same nurturing environment that shaped each of us. Bais Rivkah is in contract for a new building down the block from the Elementary campus. And now, this Sunday we are set to launch the “BRick by BRick” building campaign.

What is a brick?

A brick is “libun hilchasa”–bricks of Halacha and torah, a brick is a mitzvah that builds the Bais Hamikdash. But now we need actual bricks for this new building to accomplish more torah learning, and even more mitzvos!

Today, I reach out to you with a heartfelt, but urgent request: Make a difference, secure a brick!

Here’s how you can secure a brick!

1: Give a Brick:

  • Just $1,000 to secure a Brick: Your generous donation can be structured as follows:
    • $83/month over 1 year
    • $41/month over 2 years

You can donate to my page if you don’t have one: Charidy.com/BR/MorahTiechtel

2. Raise a Brick:

  • Fundraise a Brick: Create a fundraising page and rally your network—friends, family, colleagues—to collectively sponsor a brick.

Create a page here:  https://www.charidy.com/br#create-new-team

Either way, your name goes on the building!

You can do it! We can all do it! We can help buy this building, TOGETHER!

Let’s come together, as we always have, to ensure that Bais Rivkah continues to be a pillar of strength and education for generations to come.

With deepest love, affection and gratitude,

Morah S. Tiechtel
