BDE: Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Wolosow, 43, OBM

With great sadness we report the sudden passing of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Wolosow OBM, Shliach of the Rebbe who worked with adults at the Chabad of Manalapan, NJ. He passed away on Monday, the 5th of Shvat, 5785.

He was 43 years old.

Rabbi Wolosow’s passing comes as a shock to the entire Chabad community, with him taking to the stage last night at the Kalahari Resort to sing with Avraham Fried.

He is survived by his wife Chanele ,and their children; NochumDovMendelTzipaMiriam, and Uzie. He is also survived by his two adopted children, Naomi and Tani.

He is survived by his parents, Rabbi Chaim and Sara Wolosow (Sharon, MA), and siblings; Mrs. Rivky Horowitz (Canton, MA), Mrs. Goldie Poltkin (Toronto, Canada), Mrs. Mimi Wilhelm (Portland, OR), Rabbi Pasi Wolosow (Toronto, Canada), Mrs. Mushkie Lowenthal (Crown Heights), Mrs. Chanie Minkowitz (Sharon, MA), Rabbi Leibel Wolosow (Crown Heights), Mendy Wolosow (Hallandale, FL), Rabbi Berri Wolosow (Crown Heights), Rabbi Zalmi Wolosow (Crown Heights), and Rabbi Shmuly Wolosow (Pittsburgh, PA).
